Undeserved Favor
For the last couple of weeks, we've been blessed to be surrounded by friends and family who came from many different places to help us get fencing started. Not a moment goes by where I am not completely blown away by how good God is and how amazing it is to see the vision He handed us unfold. I can look out my front porch and see a physical representation of what has been in my heart and mind for such a long time. It's so powerfully moving that it brings tears to my eyes. To think God would allow us to play a small part in what He has in store for Bright Side is humbling and thrilling all at the same time.
God has been so gracious and so generous to us in this journey, especially in the last few months. Every time we thought about hesitating, God pressed us forward and encouraged us to not stop moving. There are countless stories of how God has shown Himself faithful through it all, and I wish that I could number each one for you right here, right now. He has poured out favor on Bright Side, and while we feel as though we don't deserve it, we are incredibly grateful for all He has done and is continuing to do.
This past Saturday on March 28th, we had a second volunteer work day to continue clearing and placing fence posts. During lunch, a friend stopped out to help with food and looked out on all that was happening. She said, "I can see it! I know you've explained what was planned, but now I can see it! And, it's beautiful! Your land has always been beautiful, but this is really beautiful."
It IS beautiful to see a vision come to life. And this is just the beginning. Right now, there's only glimpses of what is yet to come, but I can see it all laid out, and it is breathtaking.
Here are a few before and after pics of all that has happened (fence posts and clearing) in the last two weeks. Rails are going up soon!! God is good...all the time!
